As a member of the COORDINARE Executive team, Lauren is responsible for leading the commissioning function of COORDINARE to achieve improved health outcomes, reduced inequalities and better patient experiences across the region.

Within her role in the Commissioning team, Lauren helps to lead commissioning across the organisation, working with the Executive team, the Clinical Councils and Community Advisory Committees to ensure that COORDINARE has clear and agreed priorities based on need and is able to allocate resources accordingly.

Alison is responsible for the whole cycle of commissioning (strategic planning, designing, procurement, contracting and review and evaluation) of primary mental health services in South Eastern NSW, under an integrated stepped approach. Along with the two Local Health Districts, she is also responsible for the Regional Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Plan and its associated implementation.

Current program areas include: headspace centres in Nowra, Wollongong, Queanbeyan, Goulburn and Bega, psychological therapies, hard to reach, psychological therapies in residential aged care facilities, complex mental health services, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health services, psychosocial services and more.

Joanne is responsible for commissioning specialist alcohol and other drugs (AOD) services in South Eastern NSW, including planning, contracting and monitoring these services.

Current programs include: Pathways Eurobodalla, Monaro, Goulburn and Bega providing the full range of AOD services; a brokerage AOD service for Aboriginal women that draws clients from all four Aboriginal Medical Services on the South Coast, and an Aboriginal Youth AOD care co-ordination service in Yass.

Samantha is responsible for facilitating the commissioning of initiatives and projects with primary care providers in the area of end of life care. Working across the South Eastern NSW region with the two local health districts as well as general practitioners,  pharmacies, aged care facilities and other non-government organisations.

This portfolio aims to strengthen capacity, coordination and partnerships between primary health, community health, community pharmacy, aged care providers and other partners to deliver high quality and effective palliative and end of life care in the community. The main focus of the current projects is to increase community participation in planning for end of life care, and to strengthen community based palliative and end of life care.

As a part of the Commissioning team, Fiona supports the implementation of the SENSW Regional Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Plan to reduce fragmentation, address shared priorities and establish joined up systems and pathways based on population needs that lead to improved health outcomes and positive consumer experiences.

Fiona works closely with and is guided by an Implementation Coordination Committee, which includes representatives from COORDINARE, Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD and Southern NSW LHD.

As a part of the Commissioning team, Peter is working with local agencies to implement evidence-based systemic approaches to suicide prevention throughout our Southern region.

This is a community-wide approach spanning population-based health promotion initiatives through to improving the supports available to individuals at risk of suicide. Effective suicide prevention requires coordination and collaboration across a variety of sectors, agencies, service providers and community groups.

Kay works as the Integrated Team Care Coordinator within the Commissioning team to support the Service Development and Performance Manager - Aboriginal Health.

As the Integrated Team Care Coordinator, Kay provides support and leadership to the commissioned Integrated Team Care (ITC) workforce to achieve better treatment and management of chronic conditions for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, through better access to the required services, better care coordination and provision of supplementary services.

Gina’s executive support ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the day to day activities of both Directors, assisting them to perform at their best. Key duties include calendar, travel and meeting management, report and document processing, stakeholder engagement, and record keeping.
