BreastScreen NSW mobile van visiting Huskisson and Sussex Inlet

21 February 2024

Across February and March the BreastScreen NSW mobile van will be visiting Huskisson and Sussex Inlet and is a timely reminder for women aged 50 to 74 to book a free life-saving mammogram.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Australian women. A mammogram (or breast screen) is the best way for women aged 50 to 74 to find breast cancer early - it can pick up breast cancers before they can be seen or felt. The earlier breast cancer is found, the higher the chance of survival. A screen with BreastScreen NSW takes only 20 minutes. A GP referral is not required and all radiographers are female.

The BreastScreen mobile van will be available at:

  • Huskisson - 26 February – 22 March, Husky Sports Centre (336 Huskisson Road, Huskisson).
  • Sussex Inlet - 25 - 28 March - Sussex Inlet Bowling Club.

Book your free breast screen today via the Breast Screen NSW website or call 13 20 50. If you require interpreter assistance, please call 13 14 50 during business hours.
